Here is a Pokémon Black and White comic featuring Nate and Rosa with Kadabra and now Alakazam putting them back together and here is how it goes.
Panel 1: Kadabra evolved into Alakazam via Trade Stone and putted Nate and Rosa back together as their feet and toes wiggle around.
Panel 2: Alakazam used Psychic to remove the blades out of the boxes.
And Nate and Rosa are put back together and still need their footwear, even though they had a romantic date in the Separate Realms.
